The school uniform is obligatory on all school days and at official functions. Muslim Girls from the 3rd standard upwards must cover their hair with a white scarf.  Parents need to see that the scarf is clean, neat and in good repair.  Boys’ hair should neatly be above the collar and ear lobes with a normal and neat hair cut.  Girls’ hair should be styled or trimmed to stay out of the eyes.  Shoes that cover the feet and are sturdy enough for outdoor play are part of uniform.  Sandals and dressy shoes are not suitable for school.  Students not properly dressed will be sent home to change.  Boys must tuck in their shirts and look tidy.  Girls are not allowed to wear make-up or jewellery, except small earring.  Girls are not to have long fingernails or apply nail polish.
